FEDC provides assistance in staffing to the anchor resident of the “Nakhodka” ASEZ

117 domestic enterprises are helping to build the Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant (NMFP). 107 of them are registered in the Far Eastern Federal District. Including 88 companies from the Primorsky Region, most of them from Nakhodka. 3,700 employees of all these private firms are involved in the construction of the largest methanol production plant in the Far East. NMUP is one of the three largest investment projects in the Far East and is an anchor resident of the “Nakhodka” ASEZ. The construction of the plant is carried out under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC). The parties interact in a number of areas, including staffing. FEDC Executive Director for Social Development Gasan Gasanbalayev: “The Corporation helps provide NMUP with personnel now and taking into account the needs for the future. We inform about the plant’s vacancies on the “Study and Work in the Far East and the Arctic” portal, attract the company to participate in federal events to familiarize young people with manufacturing professions, and help regional universities create new areas of professional training. For example, since 2022, the Nakhodka Mineral Fertilizer Plant and the Far Eastern Federal University have been implementing a joint bachelor’s program in “Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.” The plant actively uses a targeted recruitment mechanism for training in strategically important specialties.”
