The State Development Institute - the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (FEDC), together with enterprises of the Far Eastern Federal District, continues to inform military personnel who are serving in military service or transferred to the reserve about employment opportunities at leading Far Eastern and Arctic enterprises.

In the period from May 25 to June 30, 46 presentations were held in the military units of the Eastern Military District. Of the 1,240 servicemen who were informed about job opportunities at enterprises in the Far East, 481 people expressed interest in employment - about 40%. In July, meetings were held with the participation of representatives of «Gazprom Pererabotka Blagoveshchensk», following which another 250 people expressed their desire to move to the city of Svobodny after their dismissal from the armed forces to work at the Amur Gas Processing Plant (GPP).

When moving to the city of Svobodny, all employees of the GPP are provided with comfortable service housing. A new residential microdistrict for 5 thousand people is being built for the plant's personnel, as well as all the necessary social infrastructure: a school, a kindergarten, a sports palace, a house of culture and creativity, shops and other household institutions.
