Alexey Chekunkov awarded the Far Easterners for organizing the “Days of the Far East” at the “Russia” exhibition at VDNKh

The head of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and Arctic, Alexey Chekunkov, awarded the Far Easterners who made a great contribution to the organization and holding of the events of the unified exposition “We are the Far East” and the “Days of Regions” at the “Russia” exhibition at VDNKh. The ceremony was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Irina Yarovaya and Chairman of the State Duma Committee for the Development of the Far East and Arctic Nikolai Kharitonov. The Days of the Far East, which opened the Russia exhibition, made it possible to reveal the region in all its diversity and show the unique attractions of each territory. More than 300 representatives from the regions made a great contribution to the organization and conduct of events. Representatives of regional ministries, activists, and creative groups received certificates of honor and gratitude from the Ministry of the Russian Federation. “Just as every day begins in the Far East, the Russia Forum began with our “Far Eastern exposition” and “Far East days”. With all my heart I thank everyone for the work they did conscientiously, from the bottom of their hearts, with love for these stunning regions of Russia. With joy and pride I would like to present the Ministry’s awards to those, who had a hand in creating this stunning, unique exhibition. I am sure that for the next 5 months the “Russia” exhibition will continue to remain the same unforgettable place of energy and emotions, and the exposition of the Far East will be a place of attraction,” noted Alexey Chekunkov. The pavilions of the Far East regions, as well as the pavilions of all regions of the country, will operate until April 12, 2024. According to forecasts, about 12 million people will be able to visit the exhibition. All this time, guests on the Far Eastern panorama will enjoy cultural and entertainment events, a rich business and educational program.
