Yuri Trutnev instructed to develop a plan to eliminate backlogs in the construction of facilities within the framework of sectoral state programs in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District within a week

The corresponding instruction was given to the Ministry of Eastern Development of Russia and the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District following a meeting of the Council of the Far Eastern Federal District. “As part of the state program for the development of the Far Eastern Federal District, in 2024 it is planned to construct 42 capital construction projects for a total amount of 8.3 billion rubles. However, only 64.3% of contracts have been concluded. It is necessary to take all necessary measures so that the planned facilities are built, and the funds allocated by the federal budget in a rather difficult time for the country will help to improve the quality of life in the Far East,” said Yuri Trutnev. Summing up the discussions, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that there are some lags in a number of constituent entities of the Far Eastern Federal District. “It is necessary to develop a schedule for eliminating these backlogs within a week,” concluded Yuri Trutnev.
